Football Index; The Key Terms

The Football Index is a UK-licensed and regulated gambling platform. The platform which was started in 2015 has grown a lot since the opening weeks. The platform allows users to buy stocks in footballers from leagues such as the Bundesliga, the Premier League, La Liga and many more. Users are essentially betting on the value of a player's value rising. Users can buy and sell players on the Football Index website and app. Player prices change like other stocks depending on their demand.

Here is a breakdown of all the key terms to get you started:

Top 200: These are the 200 players that currently cost the most on the index. The 200 most expensive players on the Index the previous day can win users both media and match day dividends per share.

Squad Players: All other players on the index. These players can't win media dividends at the time of writing. But there is talk that this might change in the future.

Live Rankings: An area where users can see what players top both the Media and Match Day tables that day. Players at the top of these win users who hold these players dividends per share held.

Portfolio: List of players the user holds shares of. Players can be listed in several ways including in order when shares are bought, by price, amount of shares held, dividends earned and more.

All Time: Profit/loss on current shares also called holds held. This is not your profit overall as it does not include profits made from shares hold or income from dividends won. Also shows the % profit/loss on holds.

7 Day: Profit/loss on current shares over the last 7 days or 168 hours. Also shows the % profit/loss on holds.

24 Hours: Profit/loss on current shares over the last 24 hours. Also shows the % profit/loss on holds.
